When:  March 20th 8:00am to 12:00pm

Where: Madison Audubon’s Goose Pond Sanctuary  (Columbia County)                                                     *meet at W7503 Kampen Rd.

Who: All young birders of any experience level! Feel free to bring along family members or interested friends.

What: This trip will be focused on birding Goose Pond and the close surrounding area. Possible species include Greater White-fronted Goose, Cackling Goose, Lapland Longspur, Trumpeter Swan and many species of waterfowl.  A Goose Pond representative will give a short talk about the sanctuary and its purpose, then lunch will be at the Highway 60/ I-94 interchange 4 miles west.

Note: Birders may arrive any time before 8:00 am (sunrise is around 7am). Ryan will arrive around 7:30, and the Group may move away from the meeting point after 8:00am. There is no bathroom on site at Goose Pond. Please make arrangements accordingly- there are bathrooms at the aforementioned food court.
